Our story
ONE FAMILY.
A LITTLE GOOD-NATURED CHAOS.
SottoSopra was born from an Italian family and many years spent living in Lanzarote. Over time, we realised we were missing a place that could truly make us feel like we were in Italy — not only in the food, but in the atmosphere too.
So we created our little corner of Italy at Charco de San Ginés, bringing simple, generous and flavourful cooking to the table. From homemade pasta to traditional recipes passed down through the generations, our menu travels across Italy from Emilia-Romagna to Sicily.
We want SottoSopra to be a relaxed, young and family-friendly place, where you feel at home from the very first moment.
And the name? It suits us quite well: we are a family, we work with passion and, every now and then, with a little bit of good-natured chaos too.
